EVENTS PLANNED BY AND IN SUPPORT OF OSPCA PERTH

A Delightful Evening of Song
Singer/Songwriter Kate Ashby-Craft will be giving a concert in support of the Perth County Branch of the Ontario SPCA. Joining Ms. Ashby-Craft will be multi-instrumentalist Jake Levesque (piano, guitar, bass).

The performance will take place Sunday May 4th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at The Church Restaurant, Stratford. Admission is $20 per person (light snack included).

Tickets will go on sale April 1st and may be purchased at The Church Restaurant, corner of Brunswick and Waterloo Streets (519-273-3424) or the Perth Branch of the Ontario SPCA on Douro Street (519-273-6600).

Kate has a powerful, rather bluesy, soulful voice, so if you’re looking for music that will inspire and uplift, then come enjoy a pleasant evening and have a listen.

Ms. Ashby-Craft’s latest CD, Love Is All There Is, received four nominations in the 2007 Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards and was awarded ‘Best Adult Contemporary Website’.

February Love Paws
February is the month of the heart. What better time to honour or remember pets who have touched our heart and left a paw print in our memory. The Ontario SPCA – Perth County Branch is once again lighting up a heart of love – for a donation of $5 purchase a light on our heart for a beloved pet (red in honour; white in memory). Also, bring in a picture of your beloved pet, and we will be happy to display it on our Wall of Love for the month of the heart.

Two Sweet Fundraisers!
It’s Easter Bunny Time
Drop in to Chocolate Barr’s Candies on Ontario Street and for a Toonie you can fill out a ballot for a chance to win a gigantic chocolate Easter Bunny! Proceeds from the draw are being donated to help the animals at the local shelter.

Make Mine Chocolate
In conjunction with Chocolate Barr’s Candies, the OSPCA – Perth County will be offering some unique bunnies for Easter! Instead of real bunnies, we have chocolate bunnies available for purchase at the shelter, with the proceeds going to help shelter animals. Cost for a medium size bunny (with certificate for your donation) is $10.

A special thank you event for our wonder-ful volunteers. Special guest, Berlin, will be on hand to meet and greet everyone and impart her sage advice.

March 10th to 14th, 9am to noon
